We bet almost all of you, or at least most of you heard about Tesla, a groundbreaking company founded in 2003 by a group of engineers who wanted to prove that people didn't need to compromise to drive electric - that electric vehicles can be better, quicker and more fun to drive than gasoline cars.

Today, this revolutionary company builds not only all-electric cars, but also infinitely scalable clean energy generation and storage products. The video we offer you today demonstrates us one of these brilliant products: Tesla Semi. It is a heavy-duty all-electric truck program developed at Tesla and led by Jerome Guillen. It is, as reported by Elon Musk, equipped with 4 independent electric motors on rear axles - enabling insane torque for a 0 to 60 mph acceleration with a full load in 20 seconds. It is also 50% faster than average truck, making it ideal for saving from time and reducing traffic. Dozens of Tesla Semi are produced and there already are reservations placed for the trucks with a $5,000 deposit per each. They, however, are not expected to hit the market till 2019.

Check out the video to hear the details of this mind-blowing project and let us know what you think about it!
