Packard V-1650 Merlin Has the Sweetest Sound Ever!

Varying greatly in type, complexity, function, size and purpose, engines are human kind's one of the biggest helpers in the modern world. They changed our existence and the way we live drastically so we owe so much to engines. With the passion, dedication and love we feel for them, we organize many occasions, events and gathering to celebrate their existence. Today, you're going to see a video filmed during one of these events, showing us the world's coolest aircraft engine: The Packard V-1650 Merlin. It is technically a version of Rolls Royce Merlin aircraft engine, designed and built by the Packard Motor Company in the United States. The Packard Motor Car Company accompanied by Continental Aircraft built over 58,000 Merlins in the United States under license. Many were shipped to England, and others used in versions of other aircrafts. The video shows us this awesome engine while it was on display at the National Museum of Flight, Scotland Air Show. It has the sweetest sound ever!
