With its official name The Pratt & Whitney R-4360 Wasp Major, the R-4360 is a 28-cylinder four-row supercharged air-cooled radial piston aircraft engine designed and manufactured during the WWII. It was the largest-displacement aviation piston engine to be mass produced in the U.S. and it has its first run in 1944.
