There hundreds of thousands of cars, but only very few of them has an iconic place in our minds. And among these iconic cars, only one or two is as cool as the 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Eleanor.

As some of you remember very well, it was the star of Dominic Sena's 2000 blockbuster Gone in 60 Seconds starring Nicholas Cage and Angelina Jolie. Today's video that we choose specially for you to check out demonstrates us this iconic machine, the custom 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Eleanor in action. It's such a pleasure to see this exquisite piece of machinery while it's driving!


The car was originally built by Cinema Vehicle Services with a custom kit designed by Steve Stanford. It's uncertain how many were built, but some sources say that 9 body shells and 3 fully functioning vehicles were produced. It runs on a 450 hp 351 Ford Motorsport crate V8 engine. It has 7 liters of displacement, matching the 428 Cobra-Jet V8 engine used in production 1967 Shelby GT500s. Such power puts the Eleanor in a different level.
