Technically, the Caterpillar D9 is a commercial track-type heavy bulldozer with a detachable large blade and a rear ripper attached. Designed and manufactured by the Caterpillar Inc. since the year 1955, this monstrous heavy equipment stayed as the world's largest earthmoving bulldozer for a couple decades.
Since the very first years of its debut, the D9 has been gradually and constantly improved. It can tow even the well-armored battle tanks and other kinds of combat vehicles with an ease.
